Seen a trailer for one of their things in the cinema the other night but it looked pretty shit. Something about some policeman with religious super powers who could follow blood to solve crimes.
It looked fucking terrible. Production value looked decent tho. Just wondering if it's going to seriously challenge Netflix.
I'll consider getting it if their originals are going to be decent. Bird has Netflix which I use so wouldn't mind paying for prime.
Seems these online streaming services will now be judged on their original content. Netflix has done really well so far. OITNB, Narcos and Kimmy schmidt. They're also bringing out a film with Idris Elba about an African warlord which looks v decent.
Sterling, how far through 'the americans' are you? I rinsed the 1st 2 seasons as soon as I was put onto them but have slowed down a bit on the 3rd, probably at episode 5 or 6

I'm up to date with it. It picks up towards the end of the 3rd season.

Cool I will need to get back on it,
Anyone watched Banshee? I watched season 1 which was good 'switch off and follow the nonsense' tv but season 2 seemed a bit too similar and I lost interest quickly, apparently they are finishing season 5 just now so it obviously kept people interested. Lots of nudity, violence and ridiculously unbelievable most of the time. One of the actresses is a playboy cover girl (Lilly Simmons) naturally she's pinilla
I saw the first season of Banshee and it was watchable but not gripping in any way. Â Some of the action scenes felt like they were written by a 10 year old too.Â
