It doesn't make major changes to the rules that often tbh, though there are variants between North America and the rest of the world. It seems that way because 'traditionalists' make a LOT of noise more than in other sports. Of course, they forget that the rules have changed and kept changing since the game started.

I know it's only for the ASG, but still - classic 5 on 5, East vs West like they did it in the days of EA Hockey was the one. The hits were bad form in the all star game, so it was always all about goals and skill.

I thought they'd made quite major rule changes in both of the last two seasons? And did they not change icing quite recently as well?

But folk were seriously bored of the usual 5 on 5. Thats why they tried something new.

They did change the icing rule, which was much needed, but that was on safety issues. Too many players were getting injured when chasing the puck, on the old touch icing rule (icing is one of the variants I mentioned).

The only other major change I can think of, was the move to 3 on 3 OT, to avoid a shootout. Thats worked out well.

Mind that discussion we were having about how many spaces you should put after a full stop? My PhD supervisor next year just sent a funding application that I sent to her to look over back to me telling me to remove the extra space after every full stop in the 2,000 word research proposal. Fat Cunt

Well, I'd be dropping her like a sack of coal; worrying about pish like that suggests to me not someone whois meticulous but rather lacking in critical thinking. 'Find and replace' is cheating, tantamount to faking your phD; do it right and do it manually.

Thanks Sterling. MyMan

Edit: apparently when you reply to a thread, the wee bit showing the last 10 replies includes posts from users you've put on ignore. Is there any way Dexter can do something about this?

Pondlife vs Mak is an underrated feud but a slow burner and one I hope to see rise to greater prominence within 2016 Quite Good

I'm all for people starting new ventures, but the amount of failed attempts at these Nandos/McDonalds/etc. delivery services is mad.  Each week someone new starts one and doesn't learn from the last 400 that have been closed down within two weeks.

Deliveroo seems to be going ok, although they seem desperate to attack students which I don't really think will be their main customer.

Youre lucky to get a McDonald from the counter to your seat in the restaurant without it going minging. Can't imagine how bad a delivered one would be.
