Good to extend his contract but he can't be seen as a key player for the team due to his age and injuries.

I think you've just described an injury prone Don Cowie.

When Hughes was playing there were hardly any negative comments about him, picked up an injury and now he's useless. So much pointless negativity on the football side these days.

He's about 39 year old ffs. Good player to have about the team like others have said but we should be having a core 2 CBs that should be playing together every week. Don't think Hughes will be one of them but he'll be good to have around to help other players especially Souttar.

I'm not jumping off the walls at the signing Morph, I've already gave my feelings on it, it's a sensible move by the club, but the football side of the board when it comes to Hearts is just folk falling over themselves to be out neggy each other now. It's boring.

I'm nowhere near positive about next season but I'm not going to be slashing my wrists about next season before this one has even finished.

Nah I know, I don't think it is a negative move from the club. However I still think he's a player that needs to not necessarily be improved on technically but a player who we can invest on to get a return on.

He's actually still a v good player just unfortunately the wrong side of 30s.

Yep, as said before it's just a contest to see who can be the most negative.

Decent signing, he was utterly strolling our gash league. Just needs to keep fit.

Would be more than happy to have him as a defensive coach as well. 

Nowak and Souttar can hopefully gain a lot from him in the next year. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if Nowak was played as a CDM next year.

Don't think people were moaning about him as a player, just saying that a squad member on the treatment table doesn't help to the team on the pitch.

We'll need another 2 CB's then. Unless Prince is seen as a CB now.
