Supposed to be the 'model professional', trains/eats etc. very well and a great example to the younger guys.

He'll be able to teach them how to lie on the treatment table properly.

You cretins will moan about anything. Good player, excellent professional, someone other players can learn from with his experience, and the exact antithesis of the mercenary DGAF attitude everyone pisses and moans about on here. The only sensible move. Hopefully aim to move him into coaching if that's what he's looking to do as well.

Good to extend his contract but he can't be seen as a key player for the team due to his age and injuries.
We still need to replace him.

When Hughes was playing there were hardly any negative comments about him, picked up an injury and now he's useless. So much pointless negativity on the football side these days.

Good player to have about the team like others have said but we should be having a core 2 CBs that should be playing together every week. Don't think Hughes will be one of them but he'll be good to have around to help other players especially Souttar.

I'm not jumping off the walls at the signing Morph, I've already gave my feelings on it, it's a sensible move by the club, but the football side of the board when it comes to Hearts is just folk falling over themselves to be out neggy each other now. It's boring.
I'm nowhere near positive about next season but I'm not going to be slashing my wrists about next season before this one has even finished.

Nah I know, I don't think it is a negative move from the club. However I still think he's a player that needs to not necessarily be improved on technically but a player who we can invest on to get a return on.
He's actually still a v good player just unfortunately the wrong side of 30s.

Shut up Charlie and stop being a cry baby, if you want to pretend we're not a shambles then go ahead, just don't moan when people call things for what they are.

Being called a cry baby for not pissing and moaning all over the board :

Decent signing, he was utterly strolling our gash league. Just needs to keep fit.

Nowak and Souttar can hopefully gain a lot from him in the next year. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if Nowak was played as a CDM next year.

Don't think people were moaning about him as a player, just saying that a squad member on the treatment table doesn't help to the team on the pitch.
