Outcome of the fight exactly as expected. Routine win for Mayweather, but McGregor lasts long enough for his fans to give it the 'he lasted ten rounds with a boxing champion' patter. Was always a win-win for both fighters: McGregor just needed to avoid an early KO (which never happens with Mayweather) and Mayweather just needed to avoid losing (which was never going to happen). McGregor leaves with his reputation massively enhanced - he's bigger than the entire sport of MMA now, and that's coming from someone who can't stand the guy.

I am enjoying the same weirdo fanboys who were convinced he'd win now giving it 'Mayweather wouldn't last a round in the cage'. True, but irrelevant given that their argument was that he'd beat him at boxing.

Also seen a lot of fanboy chat saying he landed more punches (without any context) than Pacquiao for added validation.

Anyone else disappointed by the lack of punching power from McGregor? They looked more like sparring hits to me.

For me, it's the one real blemish on his career, avoiding peak(peakish)-Manny, juiced or not. He knew he was beat. Smart man is Floyd

Interesting take on Canelo.

Like Canelo, but Triple G will win easily.

Doubtful, but does anyone want tickets for Joshua Pulev?  Got two on the floor spare, rather sell them to someone I know for face value than pay commission to sell through StubHub.

Was just coming on to post that. What a wee prick. Should have gave him a backhander in the chops.

Didn't care about the fight before now, but I quite like the idea of that lad watching his dad getting beaten to a pulp infront of him now. jjay
