Anything to do with the singing section all this stuff? Shandon was an absolute bigot fest apparently and that seems to be where their walk on Wednesday is leaving from.

Perversely imo this makes the argument for allowung drinking in stadiums stronger.

Without it, for a game like this, you essentially have 90% of all of the fans trying to access the stadium at the same time - hardly surprising that there's congestion and paggers.

Really? Plenty lunatics in the hearts support. You'll not see many managers getting attacked in the dug out at other grounds.

Jungle John was a bit of a one off though.

Can't ever remember hearts fans glassing folk, paggers within the ground and loads of fighting outside.

We've definitely got our bams just can't ever remember it being this bad at a game. Even at the jungle John game it was poisonous but it was them who were scrapping the stewards.

Fans are just people and you get good cunts, bad cunts, mental cunts in every support in the world, the bigger the support the more bams you will get. It's just the way of the world.

We've always had a few isolated bams but I think with the whole ultras movement they have to try to find an identity to go with it. Looks like ours have chosen to be racist little BNP scrotes

Need to get Maks opinion on this, but loads of young guys go through the bigotry is cool and edgy stage at 15/16/17, the vast majority of them will grow out of it.

Definitely true, and I imagine the majority will grow out of it. I think in every 'generation' of wee teenage wannabe casuals you'll have a few who are genuinely sucked into the far right stuff and a majority who gradually drift away from it. The anti-Muslim stuff is concerning, and seems more prominent than when I was younger, but that's probably more to do with the political climate we live in than Hearts.

FWIW, the most poisonous atmosphere I can remember at a Hearts game was the Andy Davis game. There's always been the odd game where a variety of factors have come together to produce a far more toxic environment than usual.
