Not sure it does. Mrs Acey needs to learn how to drive (she'd booked her theory test but COVID 19 put paid to that ) and the plan was to get something safe and dull that I can live with and she'll feel comfortable driving when the time comes. She was terrified of my GTC.
We've been without a car since I sold mine towards the end of last year, so at this point I'm not fussy. Would've preferred a Fiesta or something a bit more fun, but VW have a decent offer on used cars at the moment (two years' servicing/MOT/breakdown cover) and we'll trade it in when we (hopefully) have a bit more money to spend.

My bird can't drive yet either. Same position as Acey with COVID putting a halt to her test.
Polo is a better choice than the fiesta imo, I think it scores better in the safety ratings than the fiesta and insurance is cheaper. VW's are some pretty reliable cars too.

Practical wee car for a practical wee man.

Sooner you get her through her test the better though, can't imagine not being able to drive. Genuinely one of the best things I did when I was younger was passing my test.

How big is the boot? Also is there plenty space to fit a pram in the back?

I remember it well checking if every car I was interested in had isofix bars for car seats and all that stuff. Glad those days are gone. Went through three cars in the first year of my daughters life.

I asked her what she does when she's on her own and she either looks for an easier space or sometimes asks random members of the public to help her
