Always super wary of any video on any social media platform that trends with a dramatic tweet alongside it with some obvious kind of agenda. It's 92% likely to be exaggerated, embellished, misinformation or some other word that's just short of 'lies'.

Be VERY wary of those in the last ten years who promoted the idea of welfare scroungers and applying draconian welfare reforms that result in sanctions to people already earning fuck all, stripping dignity from people.

If these same people now have suddenly become advocates of addressing structural inequality and poverty, then realise it's likely that they are instrumentalising genuine grievance narratives for their own ends.

A more measured approach is to listen to people who have been concerned about these issues their whole lives. They have a much greater understanding of the complexities of the issues involved.

As someone with a vested interest in as many drug prosecutions as possible, legalising drugs is such an obvious move.
