Bookies have us 3rd favourites to win the SPL next season Wow

Celtic 1/33
Aberdeen 25/1
Hearts 40/1
Every other cunt 150-1000/1

I know we're not going to win it but what do they know that we don't? Expect the odds of us finishing second to be quite short.

What is everybody's expectations? Will we be in the hunt for 2nd? I think bottom 6 but away from the danger zone in our first season back would be decent enough tbh. Think it will be a big step up from pumping part time teams. Depends on who we bring in and if we can keep up our winning mentality from last season I suppose, hopefully we get some pishy teams in our first games and get a momentum going again. Absolute NAP we play Timothy at Park Head first game Laugh

I think we'll have the consistency of performance that means we'll pick up points that will have us safely in the top six. The points totals needed to get there is certainly achievable with the sort of squad we'll have with a few more signings.

I'd imagine we'll put in some pretty dull performances away from home in order to get points on the board but i think that'll do the trick over the course of the season. I think we'll end up 4th.

I think we are already good enough to be around 6-7th. Depending on signings I expect us to be top 6 and challenging for europe.

On your last point, do we not get a home tie 1st game to unfurl the championship flag?

I'm in this ball park. Signings might make me reassess this over the summer.

No idea. Celtic at home then followed by Aberdeen away.

5th. I think we underestimate the gap between the two divisions. That said, the crud of the bottom six should be easily overcome (Kilmarnock, Partick, Ross County and Hamilton will struggle).

I think Dundee will be tricky given what Hartley achieved there last season and Inverness are always horrible to play at their place. No idea what Dundee United will be like given how they finished the season and Motherwell cannot be as bad given how they disposed of Sevco.

At worst a comfortable top 6 finish, at best, challenging for Europe.

These.

There's so much shit in that league that if we can have a decent record at home we'll roll over enough of the small teams to do well.

Just read the Kickback version of this, and would like to revise my answer to "I'm just happy to have a club, as long as we don't finish 408th, and all our first team die in a terrible matchday inferno, I'll be so, so happy with the season".

Fucking shitebag cretins.

I think we'll finish 4th, and win the league cup.

I'd be pretty disappointed if we didn't end up top 6. Depending on who we end up signing I don't think a shot at qualifying for Europe is out the question.

Would be nice to have a cup run as well for a change.

Will you charter a plane if we qualify?

IMO the BRUTAL SACKING of Keatings is a marker for the season. That we didn't think he was good enough for the coming season suggests that the levein/neilson dream team have got big plans. I think they are quietly planning for at least top 4, maybe even higher. They won't come out and say it, but I think there will be a quiet determination and very high standards set down for next season. If we make some decent signings then this could be a cracking season.
