But what's that got to do with the fact Edinburgh's just ripped up its very short lived bike scheme? The point I was making about a deep rooted problem in society is one I thought would have been obvious, even to you. But you want, for some reason, to distil it into people saying "it is just wee jakies". Maybe I should have written a thesis instead of saying there are problems in our society. Who needs brevity eh.
Why would I expect a thesis when I wrote a couple of 3 line replies too.
I was responding to AP mainly, when I said those in power I'm directly thinking about Edinburgh City Council as I know Sustrans have a fucking nightmare with them. These bike lanes in Edinburgh are a pure joke. When I say poor planning, my ire was at poor local planning - I assume Glasgow, London etc... are doing a better job.
Maybe you misintererpted me thinking I was defending Edinburgh and not giving Glasgow credit, but I was actually having a right go at the local authorities here. You may not think the bike stealing is relevant, but as I said people pure boot bikes into canals here on a daily basis just because they love ruining folks day. Cunts are everywhere. A well design/funded scheme deals with this.

Morph's facts was that the council just sub-contracted a key sustainable transport policy strategy to a private company and then when it went tits up, did fuck all to keep it going. So feel free to carry on hating them.
It's being replaced though, it's not just been abandoned.
I don't really think it's a big deal tbh, initial scheme wouldn't have cost the people in Edinburgh anything while still being able to take advantage of a decent bike hire service, seems like the perfect deal. That's not possible now because wee cunts ruined it so now there's going to have to be a new one put in that will cost people in Edinburgh money but will be able to withstand the vandalism.

Hardly the end of the world.
"Seems like the perfect deal". Wow, can you be more wrong or are you just trolling me silly.
The only decent and lengthy-ish cycle route in Edinburgh is the path between Balgreen and Hermiston Gait. It's not a brilliant city for biking round, albeit it's slowly improving.

It was Edinburgh naked bike ride today. Meant to be a protest against cars or something but it's just creepy Cunt's getting their cocks out for a cheap thrill

Was out earlier, nice out on the lanes but was getting really bad vibes off the state of the driving on the way back in, wanted to do another loop but thought I'd not risk it.
