The tap water is in the staff toilets and is in Glasgow, you vile Tory cretin

Maybe it's all a cunning ruse from Begbie - "oh, staff toilets out of order, better use the pupil's loos. Can't go without ma water".

You could always boil it and filter it in your fancy coffee contraption? Do you not have a staff room with running water?

Oh, good, a teachers are/Begbie is paedophiles joke, that's a fresh and original sound The tap water is rank. And who is queuing up outside staff toilets for water? I am no different from other staff in that I bring my own bottled water.

I get that it stings that I've pulled Scott up for boring, tired chat, as it's exactly the same boring, tired chat you hammer into the ground, but you don't need to be upset about it Chrambo

Just sitting back, popcorn in hand, watching you get rustled by that very same "bored, tired chat" Â

With the "LOLZ RUSTLED" and "popcorn in hand" lines, you've really freshened this conversation up, Chrambo.
God help us if you ever find the I like turtles boy on YouTube.

The worst by miles are the ones who always talk about their diet/fitness regimes then get Mars bars from the vending machines several times a day and don't get why they don't lose weight. Show a bit of self-control ffs.
Don't get the hate for those who drink a lot of tea, though. It's a skiving strategy which allows them to spend as little time as possible doing their soul-destroying job, and I for one can get on board with that.

There's one in my work, big lassie, who never stops going on about how much she goes to the gym and all the healthy food she eats and then as soon as someone brings in cakes, sweets or biscuits she's wolfing them down like they're going out of fashion

Do you really want me to explain to you how I track calories and macros and make room for treats? My intuition is no.

No one is saying you can never have a wee can of diet, but FFS, sort yourself out if that's what constitutes a change of lifestyle What's wrong with switching to diet? You're cutting out 30g of carbs and 139 calories per can. If you're one of these that drink 2 litres a day then you could lose a significant amount of weight just by switching. Water at my work is the Strathmore stuff, which tastes like chlorine to me. As soon as I finish the bottle I fill it right back up from the tap. I don't use a glass I chored from the pub.

Is it not the case that diet coke is just as bad for you as normal?
Less calories but worse sugars or something like that. Cant mind the science behind it but was watching a documentary about the fizzy juice industry in America and it was just proving that these diet alternatives are really no different.

I will have at least 1 litre of water at work alone, along with a few (read as: usually 4) cups of black coffee. It would have been at least double that prior to Water(cooler)gate. Interestingly enough, I do happen to drink water at home as well Diet Coke is full of all sorts of sweeteners and shit. Pumping yourself full of that to excess isn't exactly a healthy lifestyle choice. What's so horrendous about water that folk have to guzzle can after can of barely flavoured fizzy juice? They could even have Robinson's in it if they can't stomach the oh-so-vile taste of fresh water.

Are you cretins going to make me do the aspartame post again?
Provided you aren't a rat and drinking your own bodyweight in the stuff on a daily basis, research suggests you're fine. |
