Can't be done iirc due to the structure.

Floodlights hold the 3 stands up so doubt we'll be filling the corners in.

It better not be a shan Premier Inn. There's a reason you can't open the window on the 3rd floor or higher in these places.

We seriously need to increase the capacity. Agreed, 21k is perfect.

A 'budget' hotel would make a fortune for us. If that one at Killie keeps them going, imagine how much money one 2m from Edinburgh town centre would pull in.

I do agree that the capacity should be increased. 16,000 for arguably the third-biggest club in the country, based in the capital city, is embarrassing.

Hoping the way to fund it is a big bid from dow south coming in the future for JW. It would be great to have the capacity increased incruing as little debt as possible. Maybe a sale on top of Mrs Budge financing another loan for the needed work.

Filling in the corners would mean a new roof for those three stands as you'd have to change the way it's supported. Considering the age of the main stand it seems sensible to redevelop that over those stands that were built in 95 I think?

I'm not a structual engineer obviously, so I'm only basing this on what I've read but if that's the way it's supported then it obstructs the corners and then you'd need to re-roof the whole thing.

Did they not talk about having to replace the newer stands soon anyway? They're starting to look pretty dated and shite now anyway tbh.

She was very measured though. It's possible but she sounded less sure if it was financially viable/worthwhile.
