The star lizard gave Brighton chris hughton so these names aren’t that surprising.

Page and Rowett interest me more than Critchley and Karlsson.

Looking forward to us letting slip Rob Page is the real choice and then hours later it turns out we offered him 1k a month

Sarkozy would be able to tell us if Rowett is any good or plays decent football.

He looks like a '4-4 fucking 2, let's get fucked in the day boys' type guy.

Anyone who plays 2 upfront has my full backing.

Just get Derek McInnes in, ffs!
I'm beginnning to think this Lizard system wont actually work in a footballing backwater like ours. We need the best Scot's laddie available to create a mini-dynasty, and Deek is the man for that. He knows how our league works, he knows the players. Just get a system up and running that'll win 75% of our home matches and 50% of our away games. Get in players that are flexible, big and fit. Overwhelm the diddies, and match the OF head on. Ruthless with turnover, you're Rowles & Devlin you're no good enough Rowles & Devlin, you're oot!

An analytical approach will work but it’s going to need time to get the right players and manager in. Union gillioise didn’t just become class overnight so I think we need to be realistic about time scales. We’re also for now doing this on a bog standard budget, Brighton are obviously in a different league and I’d imagine Belgium probably benefit from better budgets too. A big draw for us could be a direct path to the PL through Brighton but you’d need to be an excellent player to achieve that.
Say hypothetically we got hogmo in the end, the style of player he wanted doesn’t really exist at hearts so you’d be chatting about a complete overhaul and that could take a few years to really see the benefit. If we’re taking analytical approach as well I hope we don’t do the usual of wanting someone punted as soon as the results aren’t immediate. If we’re going down that route we need to be all in and trust it or it’s a pointless endeavour. Right this minute without the financial backing confirmed from Bloom I wouldn’t be against the mcglynn/mcinnes approach short term until we have more money to play with. The same model we’re going for apparently identified Taylor and Vargas, I’m a big fan of Kenny but I don’t think that is the standard people are expecting from this but it’s what’s within our budget clearly.

Pondy I think we just have to ride this Starlizard wave and see where it takes us.
Nothing to lose really, if it’s shite then we can sack it off after a couple of years

Just wish they would appoint someone and give us some sort of hope. If we go in to the derby with foxy in charge it will be such a downer.
