'Talkhearts' is censored on JKB. Interesting fact.

Try to just copy Pondlife in general if you can. That should see you right. Jose

Attending the evening do at a wedding this weekend, would a blazer, shirt and jeans combo be acceptable or should I wear the old tin flute?

Would be a suit for me, depending on where the reception is, would determine my need for a tie or just to wear a smart shirt with said suit.

You can't wear jeans to a wedding under any circumstances.

A suit or a blazer with smart trousers

Don't wear jeans. For an occasion you should always err on the side of smart. If you want to look a bit more relaxed, then you could leave the tie, and throw in a pocket square.

Jeans a definite no-no. Evening only can sacrifice the full suit/tie/kilt effort but a pair of smart trousers, shoes and shirt are a minimum.

Jeans to a wedding. You'd be as well turning up and punching the bride in the pus.
