I never understood why these places pile all the shite on it by default and you have to request in plain

Pretty much why I never get fast food burgers. Ketchup, Mayo, raw tomatoes, lettuce, gherkins. Who the fuck wants that spoiling your beef, cheese, and bacon goodness.

Best milkshakes of all the fastfood places. I like them purely because I'm a fussy eater and you can order a bacon double cheeseburger and all that's on it is bacon cheese and burger.

I do love a burger king, have to drive to queensferry for the pleasure though XXL bacon double cheeseburger

Burger King's business model involves setting up shop where no other decent mainstream fast food will bother and then monopolizing. One horse towns, shite shopping centres, airports and service stations.

Their food is no worse really than mcdonalds and comes down to a matter of taste. Given a choice, the milkshakes at mcdonalds are just enough to make me prefer them which means the food at burger king is probably slightly preferable.

Interesting to see the opinions on this. Think I've preferred Burger King to McDonalds in the past but wouldn't go out of my way for or get excited about it.

Quoted this as it's actually not the case here at all. There are three McDonalds, a Subway, a Domino's and loads of wee independent fast food places within walking distance of my front door and BK is right next to the Subway, one of the McDonalds, a Chinese, a pizza place, a chain restaurant and a baker's (it's in a shopping centre).

Seems like their marketing here has been really successful. One guy told me he likes it better than McDonald's because they use all natural ingredients.
