Titter

It is more or less a documentary i suppose, it follows fisherman through their trials and tribulations on the high seas trying to make a living. Really good viewing, fuck all like storage hunters.

I realise a show about fishing isn't going to be like Storage Hunters, I meant the whole US style reality show where they dramatise things for no real reason.

Not saying it's not a good program but it's not what I'd class as a documentary.

I don't class it as a documentary either, I'm saying it kind of is though, it's no added drama or anything like that, it's just (mostly) Scottish fisherman doing their job and focuses on new deckhands etc, sounds shit while I'm typing this out, but it's good.

Trawlermen is awesome - as are the Yank equivalents Deadliest Catch etc.

It's more Dave viewing, rather than boxed set viewing though

Wasn't having a go - haven't been following the barny above. Just echoing the sentiment about Trawlermen.

Im a decade late...but just finished the 1st SERIES of HBO's Rome. Bieng a huge fan of all things ancient Rome i thought it was fucking superb. Real good blend of historical accuracy ,fictional sub plots and the sets and costumes were spot on. Kevin McKidd played a blinder.
Start on the 2nd Series the night.

2nd series isn't as good, they end up rattling through years and years and skipping loads because the show was cancelled and some of the story choices are very questionable Sound

Good show though - Antony and Cicero Heart

Animation sitcom set in the early 1970's in American suburbia.   Very funny and sharply written.

Its on Netflix

Just watched the one with the ginger son getting stuck under the bed. Genuine tears of laughter Warnock

Currently watching About a Boy

TV show, based on the Hornby book. First ep is basically the whole book, then goes off on it's own tangent.

Pretty decent as a sitcom (not my fav genre). 6/10
Haven't thought of a funny signature yet....
