I quite like dogs now, used to be terrified as a kid but i blame my mum for that because she was terrified, would never want one of my own though, I've looked after my sisters dog before which is absolutely lovely but i found myself nearly hating him by day 3, absolute pain in the arse in the house.

The dog farting in the pub seemed to affect him directly. I get the guys stance of "these are the reasons I wouldn't own a dog", but when they turn that into "these are the reasons I think you shouldn't own a dog" then it reaches into getting annoyed about things that have no bearing on your life.

It was a separate point after his list of things he'd hate about owning a dog. A list he pre-cursed with, "I don't think i'll ever own a dog, or even consider it". The second half of that sentence is let down by the first half, and it's annihilated by the following dozen or so considerations.
