It's about the same as The Bourne Legacy, tbh. Both are enjoyable, they just weren't ever going to be able to live up to the standard set by the original trilogy.

The remake of Point Blank - 0/10

Easily one of the worst films I've ever saw

War Dogs - 8/10

Thought it was pretty decent despite the reviews.

Paddington - Best british kids movie i've seen in years. It's got the palette and composition of a wes anderson film, heart and the set piece gags almost all work. Most of all, it doesn't feel cheap which often holds back these sorts of movies.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot - 8/10
Lighthearted(if you will...) side of the afghan conflict from a female news reporters point of view... Based on her memoirs, it loses a point for Martin Freemans Shan Scottish accent and Celtic scarf but evened out by Margot Robbie's appearance, Billy Bob Thornton is also excellent in it although imo Christopher Abbot steals the show as an Afghan doctor working as a translator for the new agency's  Perfect for a night in with the missus

Just finished a documentary on Amazon prime called Radioman. It's about an ax homeless alcoholic who hangs around movie sets in New York and ends up appearing in dozens of films. It's heartwarming and heartbreaking in equal measures. A fantastic character.

VanGaals Bitch

Just saw Rogue One - 8/10

Totally shits on The Force Awakens, much better made (sack Abrams now plz), hardly any cringe bits and an absolute hnnnggggg battle at the end. Really well done, so much better than what they came up with last year. I was impressed and I thought The Force Awakens was below average.

The Accountant

7/10 - Guessed all the twists right at the start which was annoying but a decent film none the less.

I liked Rogue One - 8/10 for me too.

It lacked the jedi elements of Star Wars though. As Danks says, it's much better than Force Awakens, but this is much more just about the rebellion v the empire. Limited jedi action - almost no lightsabers. Sob

Remember though, that this is set at the time of A New Hope when the Jedi and the force are like old myths and religions that people don't follow any more.

The battle is really good IMO

Agreed, they had to do it that way to keep it legit to the story, I like that none of them made a miraculous escape as the whole thing blows up.

I also think it's great that they made an entire film to explain a 40 year old plot hole. Warnock

I went in not expecting much after last year, was really impressed with it.
