Sure they're selling like an updated version of the SNES. Think it was 50 quid. My brother linked me to it on Facebook ages ago, "let's just buy each other this for Christmas" was his message

It's 10pm (I shouldn't have bothered with that Messi post); yes, I worked until 8pm, not for free mind and not coz I wanted to, but a contractor was pushing for a substantial completion certificate and wants it all sorted before the Xmas break so at least it was quiet and manged to get that submitted for authorizing and processing - no doubt it'll come back to me for some reason. Frozen pizza for supper - nuttin' like the Asda specials, then dishes. Now I've got to go out and pack up the sled for a long weekend away of fishing.
I dug the sled out yesterday so it's just a case of putting the caribou skins down, the tarp on that then placing the sleeping foam mattress, 4 seasons sleeping bag, the emergency clothing, the rifle and the rubber boots in to the tarp and wrapping it and tying it up. Obviously much easier with two people. I'll leave teh gas and grub box until tomorrow before I leave.
Can't be arsed. It's fucking dark and cold

I do, one of the first gen ones; used it a few times just after I got it alll excited like but it's been in a dark corner of a cupboard ever since. Hassle to use, especially in cold conditions, and the battery doesn't last long.
Few yrs ago I took it to a spectacular area south of here down the Baffin coast to go caribou hunting but I never bothered putting it on or rather didn't have time when we finally spotted a group. That was a mental hunt; we got 8, four each but it also included some chasing on the snowmobile back and forth (we were in a mountainous valley and trying to keep them from moving up the valley and into the interior where we couldn't folllow them. At one point I'm driving parallel with the animal not 20 feet away with the rifle loaded but bolt lever up (it was in but needs to be down to fire) under my legs/arse cheek, doing about 35 mp/h.
Had I bothered to put it on , the whole hunt sequence would have been a great watch. Totally regret it. I'm sure I've recounted this story before , and may have posted a photo.
