Perhaps one for a separate thread but I love reading about new advances in medical science:
The first one is a new drug that can cure almost all neurological brain diseases - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-39641123 The second one is about a wonder cancer drug developed in Cuba - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-39640165 Both these articles raise two points for me. Firstly, it's incredible to think what science can achieve and what will potentially achieved in the future. Even more so is the kind of treatment that will be developed unfortunately after all of our lives have passed. The potential is fascinating. The second point is how much of a disgrace the American health care system is. I still can never quite grasp how the leader of the free world can't give basic health care to its citizens. The NHS may well have its fault but universal health care should be free to everyone. I'm aware there are drugs that have been refused funding in this country but America is notorious for knocking back this kind of stuff.

But enough about Acey's doomed marriage.

Maybe somebody was innocently going about their business, slipped on a tooth and their gun accidentally went off.

Just heard my pal from uni has died in a car crash. Not seen him in a few years but it's hit me pretty hard. Guy had just got married in July, turned 30 in February. Really sad.
