Given you're so troubled by this case (fair enough, it's shocking), I assume you'll be campaigning for more police officers, and much more funding for social services and local authorities?

They just need to do their job. The last thing we need is more shitebag police officers who are so scared of offending muslims that they turn a blind eye to teenagers being abused and raped by grooming gangs.

There aren't anywhere near enough police officers. And lack of funding for social services and local authorities is an absolute, unmitigated scandal.
That's why these sorts of things happen. We simply don't provide remotely enough support. And absolutely, somewhere on the list is "are we vetting people who come in? What are their backgrounds, what's their level of English, are they interested in assimilating, and are we providing any support for them to do so?" But the fundamentals always come back to the same thing. The UK does not care remotely enough about vulnerable people.
You're better than that, pondy. Not by much, but better.
Saw it on my timeline about an hour ago so thought I'd chuck it in there on the back of it's shit's reference.
Tbh, I'm now looking for another source of news ... virtually had it with the Guardian. Everything I read is some cunt moaning about shite that happened ages ago coz somebody who doesn't know them and wasn't there said it happened to them.
Pretty soon everybody will be in a state of paralysis.

The vast majority of the attacks are being carried out by 2nd & 3rd generation British/Pakistani muslims. An uncomfortable truth for many and no amount of rhetoric will change that.
