As my trip got cancelled I phoned my boss telling him I'm available for work. (My van is stuck and there are plenty others with 4x4s)

This means I get my holidays back.

I went back to bed at 1 and I've just woke up. This job is a bitch......

The roads are pretty clear tbf. Plenty snow at the sides of the road but the A1 was clear all the way to Berwick.

That photo was from one bit where the snow had drifted in from the field. Don't even think it was snowing at that point Laugh

When mine was cancelled in 2010, they rescheduled it for 5 days later. Then that was cancelled too. Then I flew on Xmas Day. Quite Good

Suppose when people are living comfortably on 30k+ they don't need to worry about losing a days pay here or there.

He's a numptie because he's putting his job ahead of his own safety - and potentially, that of others. If that's what his employers expect, they're arseholes, plain and simple.
