Would babysit your dug any time, Pete. Would probably pay for your trip so I could tbh

How long were you walking him for? You bearing in mind the chat about 5 minutes per month of age? Apparently walking too much too young they can damage their joints. Not wanting to teach a granny how to suck eggs, btw, just in case you hadn't heard that.

Yeah I've not been overdoing it but maybe a wee bit too long today and the breeder contacted me to give me a bollocking after posting it on insta. Going to reign it in now

Just take it as a lesson learnt and move forward.

Breeders a good guy tbf and I've been going back to him for advice etc so he's really quite helpful and he obviously doesn't want his nice pups ending up in wheelchairs.
He just told me some hard truths and I took it on the chin and have been guilt laden since. Wee fellas getting stuck in the garden for a while yet.

Was he shouting at you like? ![]() I understand his intentions but sounds like he's maybe taken a bit far. It's your dug, it's your first dug too by the sounds of it. Look how Walt gave you advice rather than making you feel like an arsehole.

No he didn't shout at me or he'd have been told to get fucked. He was helpful and reminded me that labs hips are delicate and if I want a hill walking dog I'll need to baby him for 6 months and grafually increase from there. I knew this before but everyone's an expert and umpteen dog owners have been telling me to get him out and about early to get him socialised and trained properly so I kinda put the 15minute walk a day thing to the back of my mind. Today's the only day I've kicked the arse out of it but my neighbour has a key and was to let him out for a pee on Friday and they ended up taking him swimming so I'll need to have a word with them

When he's a wee bit older if you need a wee dog sitting service for the day give me a shout
