I usually go and sit in the car every hour or so, I've actually perfected the art of skiving at work tbh.

All my work is broken up into coded jobs with a set time. On average I work maybe 4hrs, have 8hrs on my time sheet and produce at least 10hrs claimable work  Monty Smug

Does that factor in time sat in traffic?

Most of the codes do have extra time to cover travel between jobs. Random things like replacing lamps and test certificates don't but those are usually additional codes added to the job and not the main one.

Basically if I get a job to replace a socket it's 20mins on the main code. I also have to do a test so that's an additional 10mins. Half an hour time for a job that takes less than half that to do without considering any further additions. Back box is damaged that's another 30mins to replace. Test results aren't acceptable got a 55min code to inspect the wiring plus any additional time required on a narrative code.

Installation jobs have ridiculous times, 3hrs to wire an additional socket, 4hrs for an outside light. I'd consider myself a failure if I took anything like that to do it

My time sheet shows 7.5 hours booked to whatever project I'm looking after at that point in time

Whatever is done to fill that is up to me, at the moment it's Breaking Bad while writing reports, preparing variation orders and general fuckaboutery

Got marketing in the offices next to me and they're hardly here but talk about the site management team moving in there which may affect my Netflix time
