I've no problem with hunting for land management and some of my mates are involved in it. Not for me like but at least it has a purpose. This horrible cunt posing with pics of a wild goat is just sickening. There's absolutely no reason to hunt wild goat given they're not exactly taking over and certainly in the Trossachs there's very few left. Presuming they were shooting on private land/shooting estate

I'm in the same boat. Good mate is a gamekeeper and I've done plenty deer stalking in my time. It's land management.

His view is that ferel goats need managed. Not sure what the goat in question here was though.

I think it's a bit weird to pose with the shit you kill but they are goats ffs  She ate everything she shot so

It's hardly like the Americans who go over to Africa and shoot giraffes and shit, it's just a goat which is part of our diet so don't see what's wrong with what she's done.  Admittedly I don't want Scotland to turn into a place popular for shooting holidays but that's more to do with the relationship with firearms rather than killing animals.

Somehow think if this was an English person who done it the outrage would be far less severe, but because she's American makes it worse.

Yeah but they ate what they killed so what's the problem? The only extra steps they've added in to how we consume meat is they've killed it themselves and took a photo of it. I think it's weird to pose with dead animals but as long as its killed for a legitimate reason like food then not sure what the problem is.

I don't agree with hunting exotic/endangered animals for sport/trophy but don't see the issue at all with hunting goats.

A lot of the outrage stems from “killing a beautiful animal”, I'd bet 80% of the people coming out with this line aren't vegetarian.

Someone made a good point the other day that it's a bit hypocritical for people getting angry at others for taking pleasure in hunting the thing that they take pleaseure in eating.

I'm not against hunting and definitely see the arguments for it, but just going by that article it appears she has travelled to Scotland to kill a wild goat and get a picture with it, that is wrong.

Maybe there is a problem with goats in that part of the world or something, if so then fair enough, but posing with it is classless.

Aye it is a bit classless - but if the goat was going to be killed anyway by the farmer then I'm all for him charging someone else to do it.
