NYD dinner then Luther.
That's my plan up to my mums for some steak pie then get back down the road to chill and get Luther on
It was just a two-parter chasing some cannibalistic serial killer which won't be important for this one.
Main overall plot points were that Alice had been found dead () and it introduced some old north London gangster who Luther chains to a radiator, so he'll presumably be a major character in this one.

Third ep had things ramped up and I was excited for the finale
, but the fourth was merely good. Pretty loose and obvious with the majority of the closing.
Was pretty seething they killed his sidekick off, think i had just said to my bursd i was looking forward to see how she is next series as they hadn't used her enough then boom
It was a very Batman like ending, Next season is just going to be the police after him while he's out after the 'real bad guys'. Still really enjoyed the series but not sure if i enjoyed it as much as the others.

Don't think Luther's attitude really helped sell the baddie. His partner kept calling him and he'd reply with stuff like, 'I'm busy right now but I'll wrap up that serial killer later this evening.' it's as if he was watching Hollyoaks and couldn't be arsed doing his French homework.
Also given it took three minutes in front of the board to solve where he'd be. A shame because, as you say, he was quite menacing at first.
It also didn't help that the initial suspect was a patsy as Poirot dud something similar in ver Xmas.
