They changed the law recently to allow citizenship to be revoked in certain circumstances. I'll post more about it in the morning if you're interested.

They're saying bc her mum has it she will have obtained it too. We'd have no option other than to admit her child tho I assume

They'll try to push the child off to the Dutch as long as her terrorist husband wants the spawn.

Pretty disappointed in how Britain have acted to this tbh. Think she should've been brought home and arrested for being a terror threat and interrogated.
Don't see how we should be allowed to just revoke someone's citizenship and push them onto another country when they are actually British born because they committed a crime the public don't like.

Bringing her home represents too great a terror threat IMO. She may well genuinely want to come home and get away from IS, but you've then set a precedent whereby British-born terrorists (from any group) have a relatively easy route back into the UK.
I can't speak for the legality or process of revoking her citizenship, but ultimately I think it's the right decision not to let her back.

If our lives were determined by the decisions we made when we were 15, we'd all be fucked. Don't think there's much of a terror threat there, especially when she would be watched like a hawk upon her return.

It would cost a fortune to watch her. She would also be a target for retribution. They would have to give her a new identity, no doubt.

There's a difference between taking a few eccies and drinking at the weekend to going over to join ISIS tbf. She'll have links to mad brainwashed cunts so that's one less terrorist to look out for. Fuck her imo.

She left the UK at 15 with friends and was married off and knocked up weeks later, it's not as if she was firing off RPGs at are brave boyz. She needs psychiatric help in the UK: bringing her back is the only way to get her that, ergo it's the only chance she has to become normalised again. Leaving her mentally ill with an axe to grind, surrounded by sympathetic ears, is not the way to deal with this. Leaving her as a martyr is not the way to deal with people who feel we are their enemy, whether they're in the UK or abroad. Will say once more: she's only 19, and she did what she did when she was 15. She's still a teenager, and we're revoking her citizenship for something she did when she was a minor. It's not right.
