I've said already about this, but the comparison from Levein with Djoum and Severin is quite something. Levein gave Severin a time scale to get the deal signed, he didn't, we signed his replacement and he fucked off to Aberdeen when nobody wanted him down south. We should have done the exact same thing with Djoum but instead we've sat there begging him to resign for some reason.

I'm happy to cut my nose to spite my face. No player should think he's bigger than the club. If we're mildly more mediocre then at least we still have a bit of dignity. He didn't bring that much to the party anyway.

We should have kept playing him, but we should also have had a replacement lined up as it was always likely he was going to leave.
