I hate how he's had to disappear.

I know he did wrong but I genuinely want an opportunity to shake his hand and thank him for the all the good stuff.

He almost killed us (not purposely, his wheelin' dealin' came back to bite him on the arse), but also he was the first one to save Tynecastle. A stay of execution if you will.

I don't like how the current Hearts regime view him as a baddie. He was the only mad/crazy bastard in town after what Robinson did to the club.

We could've been at the whim of an asset-stripper, instead we got some radge. He may have only been interested in the club for 18 months, but what a ride.

Of course when his whole portfolio was going down the tubes and he was facing jail-time, the last thing on his mind was a Scottish football club, but he just about kept the lights on, and I thank him for that. Even if it almost killed us. I appreciated the life-support machine he provided for a decade.

He got us all to believe we could be more than just an also ran in this tinpot league, going into games against Rangers and Celtic knowing you're going to win, he deserves nothing but respect and adulation for what he did and what he brought to the club. 

The quality of players he brought in, we'll more than likely never see anyone of the calibre of Jankauskas, Takis, Rudi, Pinilla, Bednar, even Miko and Chesney would waltz into our teams over the last few years.

I was raging with phoodle after fucking it against Birkirkara as we had a Russian side if we got through and I could have said thank you to Mr Romanov as it's a nap he would have attended the away leg

I love that man and honestly never had a bad word to say about him, even after Burleygate. The man bankrupted himself for the Gorgie and delivered some of the best moments the club has ever had.
