If you you like season one the rest will blow your mind. Warnock

It's a totally different show from S2 onwards. It's not just the introduction of Frank either. Sweet Dee becomes a brilliant character in her own right too.

Caitlin Olsen apparently complained that there was no point in her being in the show if she was just going to be the boring female voice of reason the whole time. The writing for her character totally changes from S2.

Actually jealous you are getting to watch Frank's Little Beauties and The Nightman Cometh for the first time.

Tough Old Gut is a harrowing episode.

Cant remember which episode but where the Russians are sweeping through Berlin and the Russian soldier knovks on the door looking for a woman to rape. Earlier the German boy brought through the dead body of his neighbours wife. He says to the soldier, "here, take my wife". The soldier says sorry and gives him some fags.

The last few series were poor, but not awful. I was happy to enjoy a bit time with old friends, you could say. But that cunt ruined everything he touched. I think they decided that they needed him for added laughs and it just made it seem like the show is horribly dated if they think a fanny with a daft accent and big teeth is funny.

Have the series on box set but no matter how many times it's on TV can't help tuning in to watch it.

Thought Series 7 had its moments, series 8 was terrible, and the final series was a decent way to end it. However, they were all unnecessary and I'm in no hurry to rewatch any of them. And Mick is Still Game Jar-Jar.

Series 1-6 are still fantastic GodIsGod

Similar to my view of disregarding all Brosnan Bond films, I'm a series 7-9 denier.

Just finished WWII In Colour on Netflix, a pretty good watch. Need to find something kinda similar now since I'm going through a historical documentary kinda phase at the moment.

After re-watching The Wire going to give Homicide: Life on the Street a go. Bought the first two series off Amazon.

Another David Simon creation and in some peoples eyes better. It's also set in Baltimore.

I'm in that camp. Something more engaging about Homicide. The cast are absolutely brilliant. Storylines linked throughout the entire series. Its in my favourite shows of all time.
