The Uncharted trilogy for free is unreal btw. Ken most people have played them already but still.

The second one is one of the best games ever made VanGaals Bitch

I got one a year or so back, not for it especially but the best deal at the time just happened to have it. Most of the time you rarely notice, but for moody cinematics it really adds an extra layer. Will be great for red dead.

I'll probably turn it off for most stuff and just have a solid colour but thought it would be dece for films and games.

I got my living room hooked up with WiFi LEDs now, installed an LED strip on the back of my telly that just did static colours and had a wee film preset that dimmed everything and put it into blue.  I used to keep the TV on an orange and I thought it made it feel like a proper wee cinema so quite looking forward to the live changing.  I actually looked at getting the box to do it on my own TV but a static LED strip was a tenner and the box to make it change to the screen was about 200 Laugh

Quite a lot of games have been enhanced for Xbox X and the graphics were already class on rdr2 on a normal Xbox and tv so hoping it's like being in the wild west irl now with the upgrade GodIsGod

Spent too much money on technology like but good excuse to do it with being in so much.

Edit: I'll probably need to get a sound bar next and that'll be it fully upgraded for the next wee while. Any reccomendations?

I got a polk command bar, separate subwoofer and built in alexa. It's about half the price of the Sonos and most reviews say there's not much in terms of sound quality. I've been happy with it for music, and the sub woofer makes action scenes really pop. If you're feeling fancy it lets you swap inputs and some other telly stuff vocally. And if you're feeling really swish it'll integrate with all your other smart home stuff. But most importantly it sounds good.

I paid 180 for mine a year or so back, so you should get it a bit less than that. Don't bother with just about any soundbar under a tonne as it'll probably be no better than your telly speakers.

Aye there was an offer on the go that was half price of a sound bar taking it from 100 to 50, I thought there was nae point if they're selling them that cheap.

I'd love to get a proper home stereo set up but that's the last path I need to follow just now Warnock

Your sound bar sounds good and around the price I'd be looking at, will have a look over next couple months cheers Sound

I got red dead and RDR2 since I'd never played the first one :Quite Good very enjoyable so far. Thinking about getting a new TV as well to really get the most out my games because I'm long overdue one.

Some good prices at the moment.

Cheapest I could see QLED was about 6/700 and I think that was for a 43. OLED minimum was 900 Laugh

If you're not bothered about either of them some class deals on the go for just standard UHD 4Ks. The 50 I got was 400 down from 800, think it was just last years model.

Just wish I had some sports to watch on it tbh Sob

I got a 55in Samsung Curve TV last year and it was well worth the investment. Picture quality is superb. GodIsGod

Definitely go for it man, you'll not regret it.

How do you control the volume on your sounder? Separate remote or does it tie in with the TV remote?

Daft question, but we've got a Sonos Beam in the living room and that's controlled through the app as opposed to the remote.

You need to sync the cable box to the bar/telly which is a faff, but in the end, yeah, it just works off the telly/cable remote. You can also control it with your voice if you want to live like George Jetson but it gets old.

I might have a look at that. The Beam's grand in the living room, but could do with one in the room with my PS4.
