I know but thats more my point, he hadn't even trained with the team and was thrown right into the team. That was peak Lith hating times as well. Was never going to get a fair crack of the whip. Not saying he was any good, just felt sorry for him.

Did he not play about another 1-2 times max after that? IIRC he came on at Aberdeen away or something and was fine as a big lumbering forward. Don't think we missed out on much, but after that debut he was always on a hiding to nothing.

He had a similar goal ratio to Velicka back in Lith land (wiki says 45 goals in 90 games for FBK Kaunas) and a few caps for the national team. It was just peak Lith hate, so he never got a run.
Before he kicked the ball people acted like Vlad had just pulled a guy off the street to pull a maroon top on.

Was a tough start for him but he still looked shite. Velicka was excellent for us

I just don't think he got a chance. He could've been shite but unfair to judge imo. Was probably unfit and playing with a whole group of new players and was written off after a game. See Vanacek for details.

Would love to hear how supporting another club through difficult times who helped us when we were toiling lacks sporting integrity as well
 I know we all roll our eyes at the 5-1 stuff but hearts have genuinely traumatised some of their fans beyond belief. Hilarious the level they get wound up to over things involving hearts
