Think we need quite a few key signings to compete in the top half.

Gomis/Buaben do not do it for me and I expect them to be shown up this year, would like to see a couple of midfielders borught in, as well as a new centre half, left back and striker!

As others of said locke had us finishing 7th with a team where Ryan Stevenson was the best player. (Points deduction aside obv)

Would love for robbie to spring a surprise and be right up there with Aberdeen but I can't see it. A bit of settling to do again I think.

We would've finished 10th, on 38 points. Which is 2 point off 7th who were on 40.

Correct.

The worst Hearts side with the worst manager in living memory was 2 points away from 7th place without the deduction. This side, even without any signings, would be comfortably in the top six.

No idea about next season.
Obviously we have players still to come.
Apart from our games against Celtic last season the only team I witnessed was Motherwell against The Rangers and although they had a bit of pace going forward I thought they where as bad as The Rangers in all other departments.

I don't really have expectations but imagine if we are in the top six after recent upheavel then I'll be mildly satisfied.
