Not really. 2nd place playoff is between us, Austria and Israel. Not really miracle stuff.

Israel aren't great but they'll be a tough team for Austria I think, they could drop points there.

Not outrageous to think we could go to Austria and get a result but you'd rather not absolutely have to, which we do now barring any unlikely results.

5 at the back has to be ditched. it's not what is required. Tierney can play CB in a two even though the best part of his game is being stifled in that position.

Our best bet is to win the group IMO. The playoff is only three WC spots from 12 teams.

Either way if Austria put Israel away twice as they should, we'll need to beat them in Vienna and beat Denmark at least once to sneak into second. No chance the way we've been playing.

quick Google search Israel beat Austria 4-2 two years ago.

Thgough I missed a considerable part of the 2nd half I'd say Scotland were lucky tonight that that Zahvi cunt wasn't his usual self. They really did dither a lot in attacking positions giving Scotland time to get back in sufficient numbers. Lets hope they get their shit together for their Austrian games.
