My pals who are good golfers give it the 'doesn't matter if you're shite just come for a round' patter all the time but can guarantee if I'm adding about 2 hours to their round they'll be raging

Na I think golf is probably the only sport where people are understanding if you're shite.
Never had an issue with my mates when I was starting out. If anything they give a few tips etc. Good exercise and a good excuse to get out with your mates

Just done Justin Thomas most points scored overall and Hovland most European points for my Ryder Cup bets. 

I wouldn't worry about playing with your mates who might be a bit better, like already said you'll get plenty tips and pointers and everyone knows they've all been in that same position so they're usually understanding.

I actually like the Westwood Fitzpatrick pairing for foursomes. Both ball strikers who can keep it in play and Fitzpatrick's one of the best putters out there. I'm more concerned with the Rory poulter combo tbh. This is a Ryder cup too far for the postman and fancy them to get horsed in the foursomes.
