It should be noted that I am, even at my happiest moments, something of a miserablist so, occasionally, I may post something that is driven by my deep, deep sadness as opposed to the raging bile that normally drives me. Not going to a Hearts game on a Sunday because you are a mormon but not even being a mormon.

Firstly I am still a Mormon. My name remains on the records of the Church despite my non-attendance and unbelief. I'm what the Church would call less active. Secondly I pointed out that my reason for not attending wasn't about my Mormonhood...it was rooted in habit, a rejection of certain aspects of modern football culture and for my support for my dads beliefs. If I didn't say that or didn't say it clearly enough then I'm sorry and I hope this clarifies my position. Also...sorry for the snippy opening sentence! Mozzer

Think everyone can read what you're writing Mozzer. It's just utterly bizarre is all.

Why do you self identify as something you don't believe in at all, or actively contribute to?
I'm pretty sure the church would call you a non believer and not less active if your opinions go against everything they stand for

I think our beliefs and sense of who/what we are is a fluid, constantly evolving thing. While I have drifted away from faith it isn't something that has drifted out of me...I, like you, am a victim/product of my past. I like the fact that I have one day in the week which is set aside for things that don't involve money or commodities. I spend Sundays with my family and in activities that are geared towards my self-improvement. Anyhoo...this is all getting a bit "much" and a little too Mozzer-centric! Mozzer
