Probably actually could stop 3 times now for the fastest lap since Bottas is so far out the road. I thought Bottas might have closed the gap a bit by the time the pit stops were in play when he got a free track and knew Max would try to steal the fastest lap so thought it could have got a bit interesting.

Lewis is winning this Championship, think he's got a new or slightly less worn engine for the last 2 races

Can't be bothered with Lewis at all. Far too unlikeable.
I'd rather Hamilton didn't win the championship either.

If Lewis wins with fastest lap and Max 2nd at Jeddah, are they tied on points going into final race?

Crazy.
If Hamilton wins, Max and Perez finish 2nd/3rd-ish and Bottas fucks up then we could see both championships tied going into the final race.

I want Max to win the championship over Lewis, but I think i'll root for Lewis for the next race. Going into the final race tied in the championship is mad.

Really can't take to Max at all, and I do think Lewis is unreal and deserves to be in that discussion for best ever at this point. I don't particularly like him mind you and anyone else other than Max fighting him for the title id be rooting against Lewis.

I dislike Merc and RB also, as well as not being a fan of Lewis or Max.
Would like to see Mclaren and Alpine fighting for the title, but it will likely be Ferrari and latterly Aston that will compete in the next few years.

Can't claim to have much knowledge on it, but I'd have thought his first championship cements it. It's easy just to say he's had the best car for his last 6 WDCs and anyone could have done it (Rosberg did) but he's clearly a phenomenal driver and Bottas is proof that not anyone could. I struggle to like Mercedes and Toto, they just seem like the baddies to me 100% put my hands up and say I've been influenced by DTS but I just want to see them lose. I'll be conflicted next year as I really like big George and I'll 100% rooting for him.

It's kind of relaxing to not have a stake in the game. You can just watch it play out.
For sure Lewis is joint fastest driver of all time (in the modern era) alongside Senna and Schumacher. Guys like Fangio, Clark should be mentioned too, but it's hard to argue that it was a slightly different sport then (much slower but also much more dangerous/more bravery required). Prost could compete with Senna and Hakkinen could compete with Schumacher, but the latter in both cases were faster in terms of raw speed and ruthlessness. This must be the two most evenly matched drivers of all time in terms of raw pace. We were robbed of a young Schumacher V experienced Senna face-off, but we are getting it here with Hamilton V Verstappen. Pretty cool. Should also say, in a different 4d timeline, Alonso could have 4,5,6,7 championships, but the cards didn't fall for him (sometimes through his own doing, tbf).

On another note. I have to say the championship is a bit tarnished with the last three races being at these sterile, oil blood money, desert tracks.
Championship finale should be at Interlagos, but you can't turn down that Sheikh coin apparently.

Not often this happens but agree with all of this, the finale being in Interlagos or Suzuka is a must (I know Suzuka was off the schedule this year)

That's what Schumacher had over Hakkinen. I reckon Hakkinen was quicker but just lacked that brutality Schumacher had. You could argue the same with Prost over Senna but Senna was different gravy in the wet. Hamilton is definitely in the debate about the GOAT. Verstappen needs to win a few championships and mature somewhat before he can enter the debate. Senna, Schumacher, Hamilton, Fangio and Clark are the very best. Loads in the tier below.

Not a huge fan of either of the two teams. Horner and Wolff are both a couple of overbearing whingers.
Would be nice to see Ferrari coming back into it, but they look pretty far back right now.

McLaren getting back in the mix is the ideal situation I think, got a couple of likeable drivers and the boys that run things don't seem like absolute welts like Horner and Toto. Was never a massive fan of Ferrari but wouldn't be against them getting back in amongst it over the next few years.
Aston Martin and the Strolls can do one.
