Feels a bit mad you can go 11 seconds in front for 50+ laps, someone at the back crashes and the FIA hand your rival the chance to go back in front on a plate on the last lap

That seems like a total joke decision

Are they just making it up as they go along to create the drama? To be fair they are untouchable in sport at manufacturing storylines the last few years but it must be a bit hard to take if you're in a team expecting things to run normally.

I'm not sure you can bend the rules just to get a big finish for Netflix/Sky which seems to have been what happened here.

What? They only let the cars needed to have Verstappen P2 and Hamilton P1 go past the safety car. If they let everyone else unload the self then they would have finished the race under the SC.

Of course they did, all lapped cars are meant to go through under the safety car not only the ones between Max and Lewis :

Max fully deserves the title this year (retiring in Baku, Hungary and Silverstone was all not his fault).

I don't like this slightly hollow feeling to his first world championship. Deserves to win a championship without this needless dubiety. I'm sure he'll go on to win many more.

What happened with Perez at the end btw? It seemed like they might have just retired him and chucked away a podium to keep him out Max's way at the restart?

We've probably witnessed one of the most exciting seasons and finales of all time. We should probably just enjoy it this year before it becomes the Max show for the next few years

Think either team would have been bitter about the FIA's decision over lapped cars, but making one decision then changing it last minute is mental
