Bought an Xbox One on Thursday. Gamertag is JamboMikey1 (ken it's a shanner but I made it when I was 16  Fat Cunt )

Only got GTA and NBA 2K at the moment. Probably won't get FIFA until the next one is out. Still waiting on Pro Ev becoming the king again  Sob

Working my way through those games I picked up cheap the other week. Finished Sleeping Dogs, which was alright, and now onto Tomb Raider which has started really well.

One thing that's made me feel like I have properly turned into a nitpicking wank though is how both games have had moments where the main character has suffered an horrific, debilitating injury and yet has gone about their business with little in the way of ill effects Laugh In Sleeping Dogs, the boy gets his foot smashed by a hammer and his other leg sawed with a circular saw, yet in the next bit you're karate kicking cunts and running about the roof of a building barefoot, jumping between ledges. Really fucked me off for some reason Warnock

Got Arlham Knight the other week, didn't play any of the other ones on the 360 but it's superb. Must have played it for a good few hours and I'm lucky if I've done 10% of it.

Been trying to get the hang of FIFA online as well but keep getting mercilessly beaten so doubt I'll be challenging any of you lot on it anytime soon Muggy

Just finished the 3rd Assassin Creed.

Don't really play many games of that type of genre but really liked it. Only a 5 spot off Amazon - well worth the money.

I just finished it last night after picking it up on the Steam sale for less than two quid, hard to argue with that price. It`s a really good game, well-paced and the difficulty curve is just about right but I know exactly what you mean about the injuries part.

She gets the shit kicked out of her for pretty much the whole game and there`s only a couple of brief moments where there`s even a hint that she`s not quite 100%. Turns out a flame and an arrowhead is all that`s needed to treat such ghastly wounds Warnock

I got Total War: Attila last week and I`ve not really gotten into it yet, I like the setting but I`m pretty fucked off about the sheer amount of DLC and most of it is stuff that should have been in the base game.

Laugh

Exactly. It's a game and it's obviously not going to be completely realistic, but they kind of make a rod for their own back by playing the gritty realism card all the way through it. Takes you right out of it when she is getting shot in the face and hacked with a pick axe one minute, then is running about cliffs nae bother the next Laugh

Never knew Attila was out, shame it isn't so good - although I've been wondering if they've been getting a bit too complex in recent games. Rome was the peak as it was so simple, yet massively addictive.

You've basically just asked "Can a computer play games?"

Need a bit more info about your laptop m8. Warnock if it's relatively new, and not a total pile of shite, you should be fine.

Got a loan of Far Cry 4 from a mate art work.

It's okay but finding it hard to get really in to it - does it get better? Only about 3-4 hours in I reckon
