It's honestly one of the hardest things you can do, I ken this might sound daft but putting my auld cat doon was just as hard as having to deal with any other death. Such a shame man but the times you had with the dug will last forever and your wee lassie will have great memories with him and that's the important thing.

Sounds like you made the right choice mate, not fair on the dog. From what we've seen of him on here you gave him a great life so hopefully you can take comfort from that in time.

Horrible news Khali but if it makes you feel any better, you definitely did the right thing.
My in-laws had a wee Maltese that was dying and they didn't put him to sleep when they should have. By dragging it out a few months, the dog just withered away to nothing. It's the hardest call to make, but far, far better to do it before it gets to that stage.

Gutted for you man.
I opened this seeing quite a few posts with hope of seeing various peoples dogs up to their usual shenanigans. Hopes dashed with that shit news.

The wife's sisters dog passed away eleven hours before Bailey.
He was fifteen and it's been coming for a while, but I can't believe they went on the same day. Such a shite day Thanks for the kind words lads.

Breed, Scott? Or a mongrel? They say a dug reflects its owner.
