These sort of things happen when chunks of land in Iowa have the same voting power as Los Angeles in the Senate and the Electoral College makes it possible for a candidate to get fewer votes and still win.

I think the UK are just far more advanced than the USA when it comes to culture, rights and society. Not that says anything positive about the UK, it's just a damining indictment of the USA.
