“It was ketamine that ruined me. They found traces of it in my blood.â€
People always say shit like that, it wasn't the 150mg of MDMA it was the dodgy shot of jager I had after it etc. Maybe just accept the fact that banging this stuff is going to put you majorly on the para and you'll probably whitey. Folk that have these funny turns just don't know how to spew.

Part of a wider more systemic issue? I don't think the 101 number is great. Some boy tried climbing down our window at 4am- we are on the 7th floor of a 10 storey block btw - and he could have come from another rooftop so called the police as it was possibly an attempted burglary. They sent the police to a street of the same name in Kilmarnock. Another time - and I realise this is making me sound like McCabe grass - there were about 4 boys dancing on the roof of their car, utterly smashed, banging out shite tunes and all this, drinking, pissing, all jumping in and out the car, reversing it back and forward and were in no fit state to be driving about the city centre. So I phoned and said they should send someone round to check on them because if they were as fucked as they looked they shouldn't have been anywhere near a car. I was sitting up having a drink and they were still there an hour later and no one had bothered. They eventually drove off. No lights on, swerving down the street. Unreal. Living right in the middle of glasgow you see some amount of stuff going on. I just usually sit back and watch but if someone is going to get hurt, then I think you've got a duty to do something about it, but every experience with calling the polis has been a scunner and it just gets worse. Cycling home one night I helped a guy who was getting jumped off 6 neds and ended up wasting 2 days in the sheriff court, only for the case to be dropped as the PF hadn't cited enough witnesses.

It was basic stuff btw - there had been a string of assaults up and down pollokshields but with different cops involved she needed a couple of them for ID, so cited a non-arresting officer who hadn't even been at the incident I'd been involved in. Total farce.

Walter, was there an 18th Century French Literature element to proceedings, so Mak can join in?

I'm actually currently working on contemporary literature (four novels released between 2012 and 2015). Â Surprised you didn't know that, and can only assume that this means that I haven't been talking about it enough.
