I quite like Scott Mackintosh tbh. Actually think most of his tactical stuff is bang on. Ryan McGowan is murder always sounds like he hates it and has been forced into doing it. Part of the 5-1 team and barely has an interesting thing to say

I listen to them when I'm out a walk, quite enjoy it.

His chat is generally alright, but I can't be hooped with his tactical analysis, just bores me and it comes across like a pub bore trying to explain tactics using beer mats and glasses.

I think McGowan plays up to that kind of thing by not always being available and then when he is, he gives it the whole deadpan I can't be arsed shtick.

Horses for courses I suppose.

Was walking down to the front of N when Dale Carrick scored.

Met Billy King when I was pissed at the fringe about 5 years later and told him his goal was one of the most iconic Derby goals ever,  Jamie Mac running the length of gorgie to celebrate whilst Lockie was going the other direction towards N and the roseburn getting it right up them.

Great day.

I loved all those young players. Mchattie, King, Brad mckay, j Thompson, robinson, Paterson, carrick, holt, smith and quite a few others. Won't hear a bad word said against any of them.
