Had it on for a few mins just there and they had the scorecard graphic up for some boy on 2 over, having played 12 holes I think and the majority of the hole scores were red, bogeys galore!
I think it's so mentally hard to play golf in the rain, I genuinely fucking hate it, not as bad today as it is still warm but it's still a pretty miserable experience.
Anyone watching on skysports golf? Feel like commentary is a second infront of what we're watching, they best sort that out before the real stuff starts.
First golf I've watched in years but on ething I've noticed and been extremely disappointed with is teh quality of approach shots, they been poor, like hardly anybody is getting anywhere near pin high.
What happened to cunts bumping the ball on, its a links course ffs!
Xander Schauffele has got to be the most boring of winners. Feel like he's one of they no frills totally boring golfers. Hopefully something happens before the end here.
You want to see someone canter through the pack on the Sunday, create a bit of excitement but all too often it ends up being a steady boring yank that carefully plods his way through to win easily.
That’s the season pretty much over then, how did everybody get on? I said on here I wanted to get down from 18 to single figures but didn’t quite manage it - 12.5 with one medal left to play so hopefully get down to 12.
Made my first ever eagle this year and plenty more birdies
Would have had my best ever round and broken 80 yesterday if it wasn’t for an OB ball
Playing Royal Lytham and St Anne’s tomorrow and will be happy to break 100
I spent most of July not playing with a torn ankle ligament and managed to save my best two rounds for the club championship weekend (5th overall and 2nd in the handicap chase).
Middle of the pack in the order of merit and a fairly inconsistent season.
Lowest post covid was 9.6 so be nice to try for that next year.
