Think it's on BBC Alba.

If he loses their derby my post is null and void Monty Chuckle

Charlie Adam's first match in charge I think?

I was originally scunnered by the thought of him coming back as don’t look back fondly at his first time round but tbh he seems to have improved a lot since then. Saying that I did say I would’ve taken him instead of critchley, not sure if he would’ve moved though.

We could genuinely do so much worse and he is flying at the moment.

Unsure if this is indicative of where we are as a club that were pining for mcglynn or he is genuinely a good choice as manager for any Scottish club* at the moment.

Keep banging that drum and I’ll keep nodding along. He was 10 minutes and Luis Suarez away from taking us to extra time against Liverpool in his first spell when we were a fucking basket case of a club

I think he'd be a great appointment, he's reinvented himself from when he was manager here before, I think Scottish prem clubs are missing a trick not making him their prime target. He'd jump from Falkirk to Hearts in a heartbeat.

What I like about him is he seems to move with the times of football, naively I thought he was one of these Levein types stuck in the past but apparently he’s the total opposite of that.

I'm not against it, but his first stint is going to be held against him by most fans so he'll be on to a loser.

I'm just fed up with Hearts.
Critchley isn't going anywhere, the bloom thing is a long term project, and Critch is part of that.
Until he gets his own team from the stat machine, his job is probably safe.
It could quite easily be another year wasted.

There might be a couple of brainless fucking idiots but they'd soon be silenced.

It's all irrelevant though as it is impossible for these people at Hearts to make an educated decision.

He's a link to the Romanov glory days, Budge won't want that either.

Per Matias Hogmo...
Mind the rumour that he got a better offer?
Well he still doesn't have a club.
What really went on there?

Really? That’s interesting. The way we went from “he’s our man” to aggressively painting him as a scumbag who used us was classic tactics from our board.

I’ve never met him so I’m not going to base my view of him from what Pieman 2 and the budgie hint at/leak to client journos

He was seen to be 1st choice, the media obviously saw him in there or got info on it.
Then big pie face comes out and says Critchley was always number #1
First on the statto list.
Followed by, aye, he applied for the job  Monty Chuckle

You dunno what to believe anymore, I blame AI.

I wonder if they view assertive candidates as rude. I remember billy Davies saying he walked out of a Hearts interview saying thanks but no thanks because things weren’t right.

I think these board members are so insecure that they are making things up as they go song that they are scared of strong characters. They will always go for the one who does as they are told. Weak.

I think that's pretty obvious, pretty much everyone who lands a job at Hearts is clearly not the strongest candidate for the role, not just the manager but all the way through the club.

Budge and Co are killing the club.

I think they probably realise they’re out of their depth but are far too conceited to admit it and know anyone strong minded and knowledgeable coming in will call them out on it so just keep employing soft cunts to our detriment

It always seems to be the cheap option inawl.
For once, McGlynn probably was that cheap option at the time, and they made an arse of that to.

An invincible season last year and back to back promotions playing good football.

Outstanding. Deserves manager of the year.

Do the deal tonight.

On that manager of the year, it's a fucking joke that the likes of Rodgers are even considered, there's nobody that thinks them doing a treble is in any impressive. It should go to someone doing a proper job somewhere and McGlynn fits the bill.
