There is an agenda on the go, like. 
The number of houses being built around here that are full of foreigners,  it's questionable at the very least. 
There's not a lot of crime around here, but if i start seeing gangs n shit, i might personally turn into Batman.

I would actually like to know who is getting these houses and how they're getting them, I believe it should be a level playing field for everyone but I have my suspicions that it isn't as there seems to all of a sudden be a certain demographic dominating these new schemes.

I would hate to think that people that aren't from here are able to come and waltz straight in to a new build home without contributing much if anything.

That might not be the case so I'm not saying it is I just have my suspicions from what I've seen more recently.

2/ Who is buying them? Are they Scots or are they English, just curious?

I live in a new build estate, the affordable housing is filled with the local clientele on the council housing lists. 

The rest of the houses are folk from Edinburgh moving out of the city for a cheaper, bigger property. 

Fear mongering bullshit to suggest it's folk straight off the boats, I thought they were all getting free room and board in hotels anyway?

Some of them will go for that now aye, but these were first built 6/7 year ago and then it was more £230-260k range. Haven't heard of any English round here, overwhelming majority are Scots as you'd expect with a few :AJYAY: Asian families dotted around.

Like Charlie says the affordable ones are all local folk on council lists.

Anyway seen with this stabbing that one of the boy's arrested has now been released, possible mistaken identity or whatever so just the one suspect now.
