Denmark were 1/100 to beat Belarus at home the other night 

That's what gave me the confidence we were actually going to do it, the luck we got the other night with Denmark not winning felt like it was meant to be for us. I hadn't even contemplated them not winning that game.

If you look over all the games, we barely played well at all

A tiny spell against Denmark away. 20 minutes against Greece at Hampden. Professional enough in Belarus and then the first 15/last 5 minutes last night.

Denmark will be spewing but you really can't fault the spirit of this team. Never seen anything like it.

Feels a wee bit like Belarus got themselves together just in time anaw, I genuinely believe how poor we were against them at Hampden gave them belief that they can actually do something else other than get pumped all the time, followed it up with draws with Denmark and Greece.

Can we have a moment for people like me and Shteve who supported Scotland in their worst depths while many/majority? of Hearts fans were giving it the “TA are cringe/SFA are GFA/Hearts players don’t get called up/they are all English/it’s OF dominated/I can’t support them because Scott Brown etc.. etc…

It was a pretty poor campaign performance wise, but its still a brilliant achievement to win the group as a pot 3 team, albeit we got one of the kinder draws we could have asked for.

Clarke's tournament qualifying record is outstanding. It would be funny to read this whole thread, as about 90% of it would be highly critical

Denmark chucking it against Belarus was genuinely incredible   was always confident we'd win last night after that (not in the manner that we did mind), after being very unconfident for every other game in this group. Couldn't let a break like that go to waste.
