Start him up front with Braga.
Stick with Altena at RB for now.
Start Kerjota RW
Kiziridis back to LW
Leonard CM (his quality is wasted defending)

Nah?

Ginnelly was a mediocre winger.

But became exceptional through the middle for us.

I'm wondering if this will be the story of Chesnokov. Wrong time of the season to experiment.

But might become apparent in time.

I think it's more a system issue, rather than a quality of player issue.

When he gets on the ball he actually looks quite sharp, the problem is that he's often doing doggies or having balls shelled at his head.

I hate systems.
Just get yer boys playing in their best positions and tell them to go and have fun.

Think the important position he was playing was ‘against Namibia and Comoros’ tbf.

Surely Namibia and Comoros aren’t significantly worse than Livingston and Aberdeen? Then again, a boy who plays for Dumbarton played both games for Somalia this international break, so who knows.

I checked the Namibian team and where they play domestically. There's a couple in the south African top flight, a couple in the lower leagues in Saudi. The rest play in Namibia.

I'd say they're considerably worse than Aberdeen and livi.

I’m sure Chesnekov can also have a good game against Livi but that isn’t really the standard we were going for.

Wth is Comoros btw

I guess the risk that exists with using JTA alongside our financial place in world football is that we are going to sign a fair few players that look good in whatever diddy league we pluck them from or whatever diddy international side they play for but then they won’t be our level.

I see that Landry ‘Row Z’ Kabore had a successful international break, too.

I still hold out hope for Islam with a full preseason under his belt.

I’d rather just sell them on and look for the next braga or kyzi. I know some people want to develop Landry Kabore during our champions league season against PSG, teach him how to stay on his feet and trap a ball, but I’d rather get rid and go back into the market

I rate him more than i rate Kabore, but both of them have been hyped up by performing well in shite leagues and shite national teams who tend to play other shite national teams.

He doesn’t seem cut out for our league, likes to get involved in hand bags and is partial to overreacting to fouls rather than dusting himself down and getting on with it. Shame as his highlights reel suggested we were getting a superstar
