A wee thread to discuss our daily lives here.

I can’t think of anything else from now until parkhead and to a troubling, unprecedented extent.

Work is going to be a nightmare. Genuinely never felt like this about something that rationally means nothing (men kicking a baw aboot) but spiritually is dominating my thoughts, my mood over the summer, what it means to Edinburgh, what it means for the future of the club, possibility of stadium expansion and future of Gorgie, the next five years of our lives, nights in Milan, Barcelona, madrid etc…

It simultaneously is meaningless, trivial and one of the most important things that’s ever happened on our lives. It’s bogglin my mind. From now until Wednesday will be a heid fuck but then there will most likely be no relief even then.

I'm starting to understand why old firm fans are largely the biggest collection of broken humans in existence. This shit fucks you.

This has been me for months on and off, weirdly right now I'm in a relatively calm state, can't rely on other teams so have long since stopped expecting Celtic to drop points.

The build ups to our games though are on another level, this week is going to be such a pivotal week in our lives, as sad as that might be, and as much as we can spend it shitting ourselves and moaning about Celtic being "amazing" we really should be embracing this for what it is, an unbelievable opportunity to do something generations of Hearts fans have never seen.

I was returning something to my dad this morning. I was so busy thinking about the old firm score that I arrived at his house without it  Warnock

I'll honestly be content to see one (1) title win in my lifetime. There will be other chances, but this just feels like a generational opportunity to do the unthinkable.

2026 has been one of the worst years I've ever experienced. Seeing a serious title challenge out of nowhere has been a nice distraction.

Much calmer today than I was after the Rangers game. Maybe it’s because it’s all in our hands now, maybe it’s because if we don’t make it I can feel content our players gave their all to the end and had the opportunity taken from them by corrupt refereeing, maybe it’s because we can go and get the result we need next weekend and what an achievement that would be.

We know what we need to do - 4 points minimum in the next two games. The players will leave it all out there and the fans need to believe.

Hope we get it over the line. Tough year for yourself and a few others im sure, will change what 2026 means forever if it happens

Went to look at a fencing job yesterday that I was meant to be doing next week. Saw the boy through his living room window wearing a Celtic top. Didn't even chap his door Tony Can't Hear You

The Motherwell penalty was haunting my thoughts.

Now it's the realisation of no Halkett or Leonard for these two games.

I think we can get over the line without Halkett and Leonard, especially as Milne and Devlin will be coming back.

We could go without Devlin on Wednesday and go Spittal-Beni as we need to go and win that game, then we can go Spittal-Beni-Devlin at Parkhead which makes us more solid.

Milne coming back frees up Kingsley to go CH if needed so gives us options. It will be a backs against the wall job but it was always going to be that anyway but Milne gives us an out all.

The thing that was playing on my mind last night and I will struggle with until Saturday is that if that penalty was given and we’d scored we’d need to win against Falkirk to win the league, simple as that. Our players did everything right on Saturday and haven’t been given the reward they deserve. I firstly hope a big deal doesn’t need to be made of it as it becomes largely irrelevant but if not I expect the club to come out swinging and want them to direct their ire at McLean personally.

Is that right BB?

If hearts had won we’d still only be 3 points ahead with a small goal difference.  Are we not largely in the same place we would’ve been with a win albeit it makes Falkirk an absolute must win, which it always was already tbf.

If we'd beat Motherwell (which penalty or not we should've, we were well on top and couldn't get it done) we'd be shree points ahead so goal difference would come into it. I'd be just as nervous. Still though, absolute worst case scenario come Saturday is that we need to win at celtic park, it's unlikely it'll come to that. Channel Simeone, grind out a draw and watch them spew.

All PHM have to do everything to get their karma up before Wednesday. Help old ladies with their shopping, hold doors for people with a smile, rescue a cat from a tree. That sort of shit.

Yeah, that’s true once I check my maths, my bad.

I guess we’d have ramped the pressure up on Celtic as Wednesday would be a must win for them. It doesn’t change much in reality as that JBA will have them lying down anyway.

A mad idea I’ve had: we should hire a ‘referee consultancy group’ of 1-3 professional/qualified referees from another country and have them analyse and evaluate McLean’s performance on Saturday, Walsh’s on Wednesday and whichever corrupt bastard we get on Saturday. Make it so their report will be available publicly within 24 hours on the club website. Call the referees out by name: Nick Walsh/Steven McLean/whoever gets Saturday - we are watching every decision you make and going over it numerous times. Make sure we publicly put it out today on the website too so everyone is clear and we are being totally transparent.

That’s the sort of immature shit I would pull if I was Bloom anyway jjay

If my maths is right a win at parkhead wins the title, regardless of the result against falkirk or celtic and motherwell.

The only thing that’s off the table if it stays the way it is through weds is we could win it with a narrow defeat.

We are pretty much where we were on Saturday at 8pm.
