Hearts have single handedly breathed new life into this league.

Totally anecdotal, but I get people coming up to me to ask about it at the gym and fives quite regularly now. Turns out a competitive league is a lot more interesting than a duopoly, who knew? Wow

An expanded league must happen.

If Celtic draw and we win. GD will matter last day if we get beat.

We need to beat Falkirk but by more than 1 0.

Chesnokov through the middle as a Braga sub feels a more likely goal than Kabore.

And hope we see Kerjota.

We've competed because every team in the league can take points off the old firm. Greenock Morton don't keep it competitive.

I've seen quite a few youtube videos from fairly big channels discussing our season. Everyone loves an underdog story.

I was flicking through the channels the other night and happened to turn on Moneyball just as it goes tits up and Billy Beane is talking about how badly he wanted to win there Monty Umm

Braga knackered, Halkett fucked.
We can't look beyond Falkirk; it's not going to be a walk in the park.

But also it doesn’t really matter if we lose it tbh

There is an enormous difference in a final day showdown where we start ahead of Celtic and one where we start behind them.

Psychologically it can throw us if we are trying to defend a draw or a goal difference.

Sometimes going there having to win gives a clarity of purpose.

I’m worried we’ll get stuck not knowing whether to go ten bells or not if we’re defending a slender advantage.

Last game, go beat Celtic. Clarity of purpose. Winner takes all

I think these are the possibilities:

Most likely outcome:
Hearts & Celtic win: avoid defeat on the last day

Dream scenario:

Hearts & Motherwell win: title is done and dusted

Still a very good scenario:

Hearts win & Motherwell draw: take a minimum four-goal lead to Parkhead, barring an absolute catastrophe, title's ours

Bad scenarios:

Both draw
Or Hearts lose by less than three, & Celtic draw: avoid defeat

Nightmare scenarios:

Hearts lose by three or more, Celtic draw
Or Hearts draw, Celtic win
Or Hearts lose, Celtic win: beat Celtic to win the title

No matter what happens on Wednesday, we can still win the title on the last day.

We need to approach the Celtic game as one we need to win and I think that’s how Del will be preparing the players for it.

We cannot go there thinking a draw is enough in how we approach the game and that’s the same even if we go there with a decent GD advantage.

Avoiding defeat to win the leave has plenty of clarity.

Let’s chill, we certainly don’t want to be having to win Laugh

We want to go there with a healthy lead and play out the dullest 0-0 draw in history.

Should be going for it tonight - it doesn’t seem like this Falkirk team can defend for shit any time I’ve watched them recently.

A 2 or 3 nil win for us and a draw at fir park would put us in a very good spot again.

Focus on beating Falkirk, and the rest can be picked up in due course.

I really want us to get an early goal and then just batter Falkirk from there, we need to make sure our goal difference is as high as possible before rocking up to the BJK Camp on Saturday.

Remember a +4 can be destroyed in a 2-0 lead. Needs to be as high as possible.

For the first time in a long time, we have to perform well from the start to influence another game that is taking place at the same time Wow

If we score a couple early and Celtic are still drawing against Motherwell it will start coming through and the beasts in the stand might start getting nervous. That could influence the team on the pitch.
