Officially World Cup week  

What’s everyone’s plans for watching Scotland - in the gaff, local, fan zones? Or anyone heading  over to the US shortly?

Going for a fanzone type event in the southside for Haiti just for the buzz, on holiday for Morocco and no idea what to do about the Brazil game yet. Work colleague is Canadian so heading out to watch them Friday night as well.

There’s been little to like in the build up with the price gouging etc but now the games are about to start can’t wait. I don’t remember 98, all I’ve known is us failing to get to this point.

Going to a pub on rose st for Haiti. Booked in for 10pm

Convinced Clark is going to do it to us again at the tourney so not sure I’ve made the right call to go out for it. Novelty of the late kick off in the pub I suppose

I'm starting to get excited for it. I was 10 in 98. Buzzing for the Jocks to be involved despite my hatred of Clarke and the SFA.

I think the group stages will be a shambles with kick off times etc and so much dross qualified.

Should get good once the knock outs commence.

Plans for the Scotia game, local pub, 10er a head, doors locked at 11:30pm sherp. No ticket, no entry. Live game starts 2am. Think they're doing half time pies, stovies etc. Could be dece or could be a shambles. I'll have cans in the gaff if it's shite, too busy, or full of bams. Likely all 3! Could see me dipping and going home just to watch it tbh. See how she goes.

Hopefully as people start getting to America this week all the shite surrounding it disappears and we get a great tournament. The times are a shame for the young kids, going to tape all the games and get flags and all that.

Should be brilliant.

Thought I'd be spewing not going but really not arsed tbh. Cologne was incredible for so many reasons, think the states just seems like a pain in the arse to navigate and get the sort of football culture you want.

The wee man wants to watch the Haiti game so it’ll be tins on the couch for that one. He’s away to a camp with the Scouts when the Morocco game is on so might head out for that one. 11pm kick offs are a bit easier to handle at my age too

Aye that's the one. Group of us going and I'm no even sure if half of them like football that much and they're just going for a drink, so that could be annoying specially if we end up pumped
